I will dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
